Summarise the sample board: counts in each status, the share completed and reported, and the backlog still waiting — save each snapshot on this device.
Try sample values — fills the form with the worked example below.

Rejected (%)
Equation: Total = received + in progress + completed + reported + rejected, and must match the registered total. Completed (%) = completed ÷ total × 100. Backlog = received + in progress. Rejected (%) = rejected ÷ total × 100.
Method: Sample status summary per ISO/IEC 17025:2017, clause 7.4 (handling of test items) and clause 7.8 (reporting of results): every registered sample sits in exactly one status, so the status counts always add up to the registered total.
Assumptions: the counts are a snapshot at one moment; a sample moves status only once per step, and a rejected sample is never counted as completed.
Limitations: the dashboard shows counts only — it does not show how long any sample has waited, so an old backlog can hide behind a healthy-looking completion rate.
Rounding: percentages to 2 decimal places; counts are whole numbers; intermediates unrounded.
This is a calculation aid, not a laboratory report — confirm against your accredited method before citing a value. Records are kept only in this browser on this device (localStorage); this is a device-only record aid, not a shared multi-user LIMS, and nothing is sent to any server.

Worked example: 12 received, 8 in progress, 60 completed, 15 reported, 5 rejected — total 100, completed 60.00%, backlog 20 samples, rejected 5.00%.
