Method: HACCP plan completeness against the 7 HACCP principles and 12 application steps in Codex CAC/RCP 1-1969 (Rev. 2020), General Principles of Food Hygiene, Annex: Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System. ISO 22000:2018 clause 8.5 covers the same plan elements for a food safety management system.
Assumptions: the step count is the full flow diagram; a CCP with no documented critical limit counts as undocumented; a PRP with no written procedure counts as undocumented.
Limitations: a completeness score is not a validation — a plan can score 100% and still have the wrong hazards or limits; validation and verification are separate HACCP principles (6 and 7).
Rounding: percentages to 2 decimal places; intermediates unrounded.
This is a calculation aid, not a laboratory report — confirm against your accredited method before citing a value.

A plan is complete only when every step has a hazard analysis and every CCP has a critical limit — anything less is a gap to close before the next audit. Saved on this device only. Tool 241 of 500 — GIFSQ
