One view of the factory week: first-pass yield, schedule attainment and on-time delivery — three key performance indicators, plus an overall score that averages them.

Overall score
Equation: First-pass yield (%) = good units ÷ total units × 100. Schedule attainment (%) = actual output ÷ planned output × 100. On-time delivery (%) = orders on time ÷ total orders × 100. Overall score = the mean of the three.
Method: Factory KPI dashboard: the three headline indicators used across food manufacturing — yield (quality), attainment (the plan was met) and on-time delivery (the customer got it when promised). The overall score is a simple mean so a weak indicator cannot hide behind a strong one.
Assumptions: good units are those that passed first time without rework; planned output is the agreed schedule for the same period; on-time means delivered on or before the promised date.
Limitations: the mean overall score treats the three indicators as equally important — weight them when one matters more to the business; the dashboard shows the week, not the trend — compare with last week before acting.
Rounding: each indicator and the overall score to 2 decimal places; intermediates unrounded.
This is a calculation aid, not a laboratory report — confirm against your accredited method before citing a value.

Worked example: Good 950 of 1,000 units, actual 980 of 1,000 planned, 47 of 50 orders on time: first-pass yield = 95.00%; attainment = 98.00%; on-time = 94.00%; overall = 95.67%.

The overall score is only as honest as the weakest indicator — read all three before celebrating the average. Tool 360 of 500 — GIFSQ
