Once Upon a Farm Tractor Wheels Organic Toddler Soft-Baked Bars Recalled After Choking Reports

What was flagged

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned on October 30, 2026, that consumers should not buy or serve Once Upon A Farm Tractor Wheels, Organic Toddler Soft Baked-Bars. The warning covers all flavors, quantities, and varieties, including all lot codes and expiration dates. No recall number is stated in the FDA advisory, and no single lot code or UPC is listed, because the advice applies to the whole product line. The FDA says the firm has agreed to initiate a recall after it was informed of reports of adverse events.

Why the FDA issued the warning

The FDA has received several reports that describe toddlers ages 1.5 to 2.5 years suffering complete airway obstruction with the inability to breathe after consuming the product. When chewed, the product reportedly forms a dry, sticky mass that standard choking interventions, including back blows and the Heimlich maneuver, may fail to dislodge. Some reported choking incidents have required emergency response intervention and hospital observation. The FDA calls this a potentially fatal choking hazard.

Where the bars were sold

The product is sold nationwide online and at stores, including Costco, Target, and Walmart. The FDA says it may be sold elsewhere, such as Amazon.com and other third-party vendors, and it will update the advisory as more information becomes available.

What to do

Do not buy or serve any flavor of Once Upon A Farm Tractor Wheels, Organic Toddler Soft-Baked Bars, and throw away any you have at home right away. Retailers should not sell this product. Call 9-1-1 in the event that someone is choking and other first aid measures to dislodge the obstruction have failed. Consumers who have symptoms should contact their health care provider, and complaints or adverse events can be reported through the FDA Industry and Consumer Assistance page.
