Job Summary
The Senior QC Assistant is responsible for conducting quality control activities to ensure that raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished products meet established food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role includes laboratory testing, process monitoring, documentation, investigation of quality issues, and supporting the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Experience
1–2 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, preferably in the food, beverage, or FMCG industry.
Required Competencies
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and continuously improve.
Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts.
Laboratory testing and analytical skills.
Documentation and record-keeping.
Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO Standards, and Quality Management Systems.
