Fruits produced by Annona muricata. Closely related to sugar apples and custard apples. The white flesh is embedded with black seeds and has a flavour reminiscent of pineapples and mangoes. Pulp is used in making beverages, such as fruit juices, and products such as sherbet and custards. Also known as guanabana.
