A defect eliminator is the automated device on a food production line that scans every product and kicks out the ones that fail specification. It works as the eyes of the line: cameras, lasers, X-ray, or near-infrared sensors inspect each item at full belt speed, and software compares what it sees against the standard — wrong colour, broken seal, missing label, metal fragment, underweight pack — then fires a puff of air, a pusher arm, or a diverter gate to reject the faulty piece into a separate stream. The eliminator never tires and never blinks, which is why it anchors modern quality assurance: it catches what human inspectors miss and creates a logged record of every rejection for traceability. Positioned after the critical control points, it is the last guardian between the line and the customer.
