Agriculture is both victim and contributor, with livestock methane, fertiliser nitrous oxide, and land-use change significant emission sources. Food systems must adapt with resilient varieties and water management while cutting their footprint through efficiency, reduced waste, and dietary shifts. The challenge is central to the future of food security.
