Broad-spectrum anthelmintic used to treat a range of roundworm and cestode infections in cattle, sheep, swine and poultry. Also used in food preservatives and agricultural fungicides. Normally metabolized and excreted rapidly by animals, residues rarely persisting in any tissues beyond 7 days post-treatment.
