Nestlé Canada is hiring a Quality Assurance Team Lead for its Sterling Road factory in Toronto. The role supports the Quality Assurance Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the QA function, ensuring products are released on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements.
Who can apply: the position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance or a related scientific discipline; 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Quality Control or Laboratory Operations within a manufacturing environment; and previous supervisory or people-leadership experience with technical teams. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, laboratory operations, traceability, allergen management and food safety compliance is required. Experience in food manufacturing or CPG and working knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP and GMP are preferred.
Terms: 18-month contract, onsite at 72 Sterling Road, Toronto, Ontario (M6R 2B6), with a stated compensation range of CAD 75,000 to CAD 80,000.
