Mango pulps
Mango pulps are the soft mass prepared from mango flesh by pulping ripe fruit — washed, blanched or not, deseeded and finished through screens. They are used across a wide range of products including beverages, ice cream, yoghurt, bakery products, jams and jellies, giving manufacturers year-round mango character independent of the short fresh season. Pulp is typically heat-treated and packed aseptically in drums or bags for industrial supply. Brix, titratable acidity, pH, viscosity, colour and microbiological counts are standardised so formulators get consistent performance; total-solids and variety selection (e.g. Alphonso, Totapuri) determine flavour intensity, colour and cost in finished products.
