Impellers
Machines that drive an item forwards, used in food processing — the rotating working heart of pumps, mixers, and agitators. Their design sets flow rate, shear, and mixing efficiency, which in turn affect emulsion stability, heat transfer, and product texture. Selecting and maintaining the right impeller keeps processing lines running smoothly and hygienically. Because impellers contact product continuously, their materials and surface finish must meet food-contact standards, and worn impellers are replaced before they compromise mixing performance or shed particles.
