Conveyors
Conveyors are the continuous moving bands that transport objects from place to place — from simple chutes and unpowered roller lines to powered systems running belt, bucket, screw, or trolley arrangements. Pneumatic conveyors blow finely divided goods such as flour or sugar through tubes on air. In food plants they move everything from raw ingredients to sealed cartons, and hygienic design decides their worth: smooth, cleanable surfaces, no harborage points, and guards that protect both product and people. A well-chosen conveyor is invisible; a poor one is a daily source of jams and contamination.
