Clean room technology
Clean room technology creates sterile, dust-free environments for operations where contamination is intolerable — aseptic food packaging, infant formula plants, and pharmaceutical suites among them. The goal is to isolate a controlled zone from the outside world and to govern every movement of materials and personnel within it. Engineers control temperature, relative humidity, water activity, air pressure, noise, and lighting, while contamination sources — air quality, intake geometry, people, machinery — are filtered, gowned, and validated into submission. It is manufacturing at its most disciplined, and its hygiene logic increasingly influences mainstream food plants.
