Induction heating
Heating — foods, for instance — by creating an electric or magnetic state through the close but contactless presence of an electrified or magnetized body. In food processing, induction heats metal vessels, seals, and packaging components quickly and precisely, with no flame and minimal warm-up. It suits applications from induction hobs to the heat-sealing of caps and lids on food containers. Because energy transfers directly into the metal, induction sealing is fast and controllable, giving reliable hermetic seals on jars and bottles.
