Heaters
Heaters are devices used for raising temperature by heating, the workhorses that supply thermal energy across food plants. They range from direct-fired burners and electric elements in ovens and fryers to steam coils, hot-water jackets and infrared panels, each suited to different products and precision requirements. Selection balances heating rate, temperature uniformity, energy efficiency, controllability and hygiene, since heaters contact or radiate onto foods and must not introduce contaminants such as combustion products. Regular maintenance and calibration of their controls protect both product quality and the validity of thermal processes that depend on them.
