Kettles
Metal or plastic vessels fitted with a lid, spout and pouring handle for boiling drinking water, and also metal vessels for heating any liquids: in food plants, jacketed heating kettles cook sauces, jams, and confectionery, where precise temperature control and hygienic design determine product quality and safety. Fish kettles are long pans designed specially for cooking whole fish. Steam-jacketed kettles give the even, controllable heating that direct flame cannot match. Tilting kettles empty safely without lifting heavy hot contents. Food-grade kettles use stainless steel for hygiene.
